Welcome to October's Challenge. This is a Mixed Media challenge.
Blackout Embossing involves dry embossing, colouring, and swiping (direct to paper inking). This is an easy combination of techniques which creates beautiful cards that are bold and dramatic.
Below are two videos that each use a different order of combining the above, as well as different colour mediums. 3D embossing folders are recommended to get the best results, but regular embossing folders can be used.
