Welcome back to a brand new challenge. We're stretching our dies by dry embossing with them. Don't you just love the CAS look you get away with when using this technique? Easy and classy, definitely worth trying! Hope you'll join us.

ReplyDeleteA gorgeous gallery of embossed cards, ladies! I spy a few treatments I've tried - and even more fun: a few I haven't!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Joanna! I do learn so much from you CAS-crafty girls!

What a great idea to have this as a technique this time, so thank you Joanna and congratulations to Mac for being the GD this time, and with such a fabulous card. The team have come up with some wonderful designs too and I look forward to giving this another go. I have tried it in the past and had success with my old machine, but since having a Gemini I can't seem to get the sandwich right and either no impression or it has dug in too deeply and scrunched the card around the die, and one time it even bent one of my dies a bit, luckily not too badly, but will give it another try. If anyone has a Gemini perhaps they could give me a few tips. I did look at the videos but no-one was using that machine. x
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty cards everyone has done. I missed playing last month, but will make time this month.
ReplyDeletePlease explain to me what badge is required on my blog in order to qualify for the challenge? I have provided a link to my blog and the link at my blog back to this page as stated in your rules but I am not seeing anything about a required badge? This note was posted at my blog: ". Would love to have you add our CAS Mix Up Sept badge so you will qualify for being a winner:-)"
ReplyDeleteYou're right Bonnie, it isn't specified in the Challenge Rules. If you want, you can add the first badge on the top of this post. Thank you so much for joining us!
DeleteSorry for the confusion Bonnie...Geez..I am on the DT and always thought we had to add to badge and the link to the challenge...Love seeing your cards on our challenges:-) Hugs..Nancy
