Welcome to the April CAS Mix Up Challenge!
And Happy Easter to everyone that is celebrating today.
Check out the Top Picks from March's Acetate challenge HERE, including
Jenny & Ina --- our 2nd Birthday Celebration winner's of $25 gift certificate
for Simon Says Stamp.
I'm excited to be hosting the challenge this month and can't wait to see the cards you create!
This month I'd like you to use the Rubber Band Technique.
I had never heard of this technique, but several of the Design Team have and perhaps you have as well.
Basically, you wrap different sizes of elastic bands around acrylic blocks or brayers. Then you ink them up, or color them with markers, spritz with water and press or roll the bands onto a panel. Or you can ink them with Versamark and emboss the design.
Check out all of the Design Team's creations below for some inspiration.
We have several videos linked below to help you visualize the process if you are not familiar with it.
Remember to keep it all clean and simple leaving lots of open space on your card!
We also extend a hearty welcome to Hideko (Papercraft Boutique) - our very talented Guest Designer for April!
