August Winners - Stenciling over Patterned Paper

Thanks to everyone who took part in our Stenciling over Patterned Paper challenge.
This was a chance to use up our patterend paper in a different way
and there were some lovely entries which made choosing a winner very hard!

Winner
August's Stenciling on Patterned Paper Challenge
Darnell  (djkardcreations)
The clever use of turning the wave die into an embossing folder and then
using the negative space from a  die cut to stencil the happy whale over the patterned paper
resulted in a delightful card!

Congratulations, Darnell!

August Challenge - Stenciling over Patterned Paper

Welcome to a new challenge hosted by Viv!

Challenge runs Aug. 3 - 31

Thank you!

This is a very simple technique and a great way to use patterned paper.

Recommendation:  If you using light coloured or soft design patterned paper for your base, the stenciling will show up more.  If you are using strong coloured or busy design patterned paper for your base, use a dark colour for stenciling.
